Residing in an Assisted Living facility is not easy. Being a resident during a pandemic adds another layer of difficulty. Now add the holiday season to the mix. The members of The Exchange Club of Southern Palm Beach County recognize the far reaching effects of COVID. Today we put together baskets for residents of a local facility – including basic supplies that so many lack, in addition to a little gift to brighten their day and a handwritten card. These baskets will be delivered before Thanksgiving.

This year we are jointly installing a Balloon Field (more than 100 oversized balloons) outside the Delray Beach Police Department in April (Child Abuse Prevention Month) to commemorate the abused and neglected Florida children who died from abuse. It is a powerful installation to bring to light the level of abuse children in our state unfortunately still endure. I invite you to see it.
